Romeo and Juliet is a wonderful story about star-crossed lovers.One of my favorite lines from the play is when Juliet say's to Romeo in act two scene two "Good-night, good-night,parting is such sweet sorrow, that i shall say good-night till it be morrow". I just love that quote

Romeo And Juliet is a very intriguing story line. It has it's twists and turns and gets the reader wanting more. I think it is a play nicely written by William Shakespeare.
LET ME START BY SAYING THAT ROMEO AND JULIET WRITTEN BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEAR IS A VERY INTRESTING AND DRAMATIC LOVE PLAY.IT THE ONLY PLAY WRITTEN BY SHAKESPEAR THAT CONSIST OF SONNETS,PROLOUGES,COUPLETS,AND A CHORUS.THEY'RE MANY THEMES THAT ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS PLAY SUCH AS FAITH VS. FREE WILL, THE LOSS OF INNOCENSE ETC.
ALTHOUGHT I READ ROMEO AND JULIET A NUMEROUS OF TIMES I CAN SAY THAT I UNDERSTAND IT MORE READING WITH SCHOLARS ENGLISH CLASS BECAUSE IM MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SOPHISTICATED ABOUT WHAT IM ACTUALLY READING.
Hmm, so lets discuss this play. This play has a lot of figurative language and it really is confusing unless you break it down piece by piece. Ms.Levine helps us with this task. Im having trouble finding paradox though. Ms.Levine gave us some great examples but I would love to find my own! May someone help me?
Well I wanted to post a ironic quote is this right?
"Proud can i never be of what i hate, But thankful even for hate that is meant love"
Personally I think the quote Marisol posted was ironic because Romeo and Juliet were suppose to hate each other and being that they fall in love is very strange, adorable but strange.
In reading the play, I've always wondered what it would be like if Romeo and Juliet would have met in a different setting. What if they were with their parents when they met? Would they still love each other?(thats actually a good question:])

ok....so all we do is post w.e about this pplay? well...this happens to be one of my alltime favs!! all though ive been reading it since 3rd grade!! lol it really shows how far a person is willing to go for true love. it makes teenagers ask themselves if they really know the true meaning of love..
Romeo & Juliet, teaches us a variety of lessons. One is that human error can lead to tragedy & that its not up to fate to decide for you.
i love this book!!! and i like the movie. Shakespeare can be so touching, the movie made me tear...=). I just told my dad a few minutes ago to buy me the movie and he said ill get you a dozen lol( i know he is lying....shuksz =\ ).
