We've immersed ourselves in all different kinds of short fiction this marking period. We've analyzed: plot, imagery, theme, characterization, conflict, style, diction, authentic dialogue, genre, descriptive writing, allusions, and figurative language. We've discussed what makes a story a good story, what stories mean to us, and we've answered why we (as individuals and as a culture) tell stories. So, here is your chance to write your own fictional narrative. Use this post to share your frustrations and inspirations. Have fun!

Well, im currently reading King Dork(Thx Ms. Levine), which is taking me FOR EVER BTW. Its an awesome book, the only reason i like is its because it hits close to home, and its extremely funny. If it wasnt funny, and i wasnt able to relate to the book/author, i wouldnt have even bothered asking her for the book. I guess my point is that for a fictional story to be good, it should be written so enough people who read it could relate to it. I have no idea if i made sense, but w/e. I understood my self =p. BTW: Check out my blog, click on my name =D. Im soooo tired... and the weather kinda sucks, Friday is going to be awesome. Eh.
She sings and sings
in that dangerous wood.
"What is she doing?" The beast thought, "Who does she think she is?!"
She didn't quite know what she was getting herself into. The nats hovering around her, feeding on her vivacious aura, and the birds chirpped in a serene manner.
The look on the beast's face wasn't very pleasant. His sheer purple eyes glinted with fury and confusion. Why is she here, he thought.
The wood never saw such radiance in countless decades, not since the beast arrived.
He had no home, no one to call his own. He shared no smiles with anything or anyone, only morbid and cynical grins. He must've loved one. Everyone loves at least once.
His pale skin lost whatever pigment was left. He sunk into transparency.
"What...is she doing..."
Her golden brown hair, swaying in the soft wind spiralling as she spins in bliss. Her comfort frightens him.
"Does such a place not scare her?"
He thought.
"A place where there's no light, only gloom, a place where there's creeping shadows and dying trees." The chlorophyll in the leaves almost seem absent. The olive leaves spell terror for any who dare trespass through his home.
The creatures dare not lurk out of their hidden homes in fear of his crimson black hair and silently thunderous speed.
He slithers behind her in stealth.
Her eyes filled with wonder and joy.
She whispers,
"Love at first sight"
And turns around only to see his transparent pigment.
And he murmurs,
"Love?"
Well, Im sort of new at this but I guess I'll give it a wack. On the first note i'd like to agree w/ Adam. A book is only interesting when the reader/audience is able to relate to the story.. Im like really hungry, as always, so its hard for me to focus while typing this.. Anywho, a story I am able to relate to is Bodega Dreams, IDK if thats the title but i know the title is something w/ Bodega in it.. Now, it seems like i could stay here and blog all day but i won't b/c i have common courtesy for the people who takes time out to read these blogs
......PEACE
I must say I am not a blogger. I have never blogged in my whole life so I guess people will have to bear with me here. I agree with Adam's and Dark night's views on what makes a good story and that is to make it some what relatable.
Me personally I perfer alor of drama not that I like it in my actual life but I perfer than in a story I might change my topic to drama instead of going to sci-fi route something I know I cannot quite pull off.I guess in blogs your suppose to write how you feel(i think) well um I am feeling very sleepy and I can not wqait to get home I think when I get home I might walk my dog Bella on the boardwalk. For some reason walking on the boardwalk clears my head besides listening to white tie affair- a band that Jennifer AKA "THE BECKS" and I can finally agree on. I guess thats it remember my first time hopefully not the last because this was kind of relaxing.
I would agree with all my other fellow peers in their comment that a story is very good especially when its relatable. Sometimes though it could be good when it's just a good story. Right...?
Anyways I'm writing my fictional story in my Writing class and it's a mystery/fallen love style drama. It's going to be half alive half dead. I can't quite come up with a summary of it yet because Ms. Levine decided to pick me up from my chair in order to blog on here. Unlike my friend Mikey aka The Dark Night i don't have the common courtesy for people who read this blog so like my man Robert Plant says i shall keep rambling on. The only problem is I've kind of ran out of things to say at this moment. So yeah, I'm done, finished, fin, finito.
Until Next time...
A reader is interested when it blows him away..hes not interested when it hurts. (think about that)
a man once told me to let the heart love and life shall be prosperous. he said, that luagher was the cure for a sickness, and that a tissue was good for a sensitive nose...He said that having a hero has no point if u dont belive in yourself as much as u do u ur hero. And he said that lying was the only way to cheat..
Thankx man.
ehhh i didnt feel like bloggin but Ms.Levine said this can raise our grade soo here i go.....
I am currently reading a book called Lord Of The Flies by William Golding and The Color Purple (for class)
Lord of the flies is a weird book! Its the only book i have read that has been really but i mean REALLY discriptive! The book starts off with some kids stuck on an island by themselves (piggy and ralph) because their plane some how crash there and then it explains a bunch of info in details on how the island is (BLAH BLAH BLAH) they figure out they werent the only ones there on the island but other kids mind you every kid there was no older then 12 and well basically they had to learn to survive on their own with no adults. I pesonally just think its a whack whack book
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! =\
