Mr. Oginar as Macbeth
Enjoy this video of Mr. Oginar performing Macbeth's famous "Tomorrow" soliloquy. As you prepare for your own performance, here are some things to think about: The rhythm in the language, where will you pause? speed up? Which words will you stress? shout? whisper? What emotions will you convey? How will you use body language in your performance?

I think That Mr. Oginar did a good job on being Macbeth in his "Tomorrow" soliloquy. He had great emotion while performing.
We should memorize Shakespeare so that we can undertsand his language more better.
We should memorize shakespeare because it helps us in many ways.It can expand our vocabulary. It also helps us understand text better.
I agree with Sabrina it does expand our vocabulary but we also can relate to it in our life. I really did like the "tomorrow" soliloquy cause i now ask myself questions about life now.
P.s. Mr. Oginar did an excellent job in the soliloquy :D
We memorize Shakespeare to learn new words. We also read it to get closer to Shakespeare and to get comfortable with the language.
I Agree with Marisol and Sabrina because shakespeare does expand our vocabulary in places we would never imagine (as in insults, etc.) It Also helps us Understand what Shakespeare is saying.
Another Why we should memorize Shakespeare is becuase we could show-off to other people who havent read the play or use the insults instead of the profanity used in our everyday life =]
p.s. the comment left above was from sibelky.
I wasn't at school to see Mr.Oginar performance. However, I really love his performance of the "Tomorrow" soliloguy in the video even though it was a little bit dark. I believe that we should memorize shakespeare to learn how to understand new words and expand our vocabulary. Shakespeare also teaches about What happens in everyday life. For example: macbeth having blind ambition to gain power and become king.
Hello everyone, this is my first time blogging and im very happy to be able to share my opinion online with my class mates and teacher.
Oh my god! where do I start. The video is GREAT, I absolutely think Mr.Oginar played the part, and it feels so real(i still cant believe I was present at this perfromance) Debating it now I do agree that memorizing shakespeare "Tommorrow, Tommorrow" soliloquy helps build our grammer, expand our mind to a different english lititure, and it helps us impress friends and a proffesor when shakespeare is recited. I can't wait to read Hamlet and memorize the soliloquy.
THE reason that we memorize solilloquies and other thing for that matter is to exersise our brain but also the soliloquies are use full to get the full affect of a character and see how they really feel and get inside the charactors head and feel ther inner emotions.
P.S. excuse my spelling
we need to memorize shakespeare because is could build our vocabulay a little beside that it is a different version of english we also memorize it because maybe sometime in life it might be helpful
my whole class did a very good job most of us had very good memorization and a lot of confidence
by memorizing our soliloquy we gain the courage to be able to stand infront of a classroom an present it
also we get more easier in remembering and memorizing
I think we should memorize Shakespeare, because it helps us to understand and analyze what the character is trying to say.
Let me first start, by saying that the Tomorrow and Tomorrow soliloquy preformed by Mr.Orginar as Macbeth was brillant. He preformed macbeth character at this point juSt as how I image shapespeare to identify macbeth emotional state and actions. His emotions, body language, speech, and practice helped him to succeed in the soliloquy.
From my perspective, I believe that we memorize Shakespeare to become sophistated young people, introduce or extend our knowledge about another type of literature, and teaches us about everyday life etc.
I think Mr.Oginar did great. Very creative and cool. Learning the language of Shakespeare is very fun aand expands our vocabulary. Even though there are some words that I don't get, I always push myself to learn them.
-WHY MEMORIZE SAKESPEARE?
-HOW ARE OUR PERFORMENCES?
-WHAT DID YOU GAIN BY THIS?
~Well...I think we memorize shakespeare so that we can
Understand what Shakespeare is telling us and also to show off to the people that havent read shakespeare like sibelky said...
we do use inapropiate language (blah blah blah) and by knowing shakspere WE CAN increase our vocabulary insted of saying something like
get away your ugly(which i wouldnt say to anyone....(lol).....)you can say get away you are burning my eyes...
lol..=P
~For my class performances well we did okay in memorizing shakespere i think I did alright...=D
~And what i gain from this was learning that there IS another way to express yourself!
I so should've memorized this.
I'd have a different approach than him, for obviously my accent is definitely not as heavy as his.
I have to say, memorizing that sorta stuff is mainly effective and useful because it truly shows that you actually understand what you're saying. Well, that is if you actually took the time to understand it before you rushed to memorize it.
The key to memorization is to internalize the overall message or theme of that specific passage in literature that you are endeavoring to memorize.
The main reason why I screwed up those times while doing the Hamlet soliloquy was because I wasn't completely certain what he was trying to say at that moment.
Now I have to say, I can't forget the Soliloquy, and I'm glad I made the effort and had the patience to memorize it. Mr. Oginar is the man, he's a huge G, no lie.
