As we have discussed in class before, the book is always better. The movie was good, can't lie, but it didn't blow me away like I expected. I'm actually on the 4th book now, Breaking Dawn. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't even begin to talk about it. I think Stephenie Meyer is a wonderful author and she still has a long way to go. I'm looking forward to reading more of her books. The thing I love most about the Twilight Series is that EVERYONE can read it and enjoy it. Girls and guys will love these books and get drawn into them. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone.
I totally agree with Cristal The movie in my opinion wasn't all that. I guess I expected too much from the movie since the book was so wonderful. Hopefully if New Moon is decided to become a movie, it'll be better than the movie Twilight. I think that audiences who haven't read the book Twilight will LOVE the movie, but for the actual readers it was kind of like a let down.... I am also on Breaking Dawn, but I just started so I can't really see how I can ruin it for everyone else since I'm barely on Chapter 2
I love seeing guys read the Twilight books because it goes to show that the books can not only relate to girls but to boys as well. :)
Twilight is a great book and movie. I agree with Crystal about the book being better, but I disagree with Lucky because I also loved the movie(seen it twice :-]).
Even though I loved the movie, I hated the fact that they left out the part when Bella faints in biology. That was one of the parts I was looking forward to seeing the most.
There's something about the Twilight Series that makes you want to keep reading. Personally I think its Edward and his awseme-ness(wink wink). Im so glad I decided to read it and I think that every high school student should.
I agree with tiffany i loved the book and the movie i also seen it twice :D, but like Cristal mention the book is better because of the details the book has that the movie doesn't show.
One scene i really wanted to see in the movie that they didn't put was the biology scene that would've been a great scene but hey, im not the director.
Above everything twilight is a great book to read, this book as it all its something about it thats glues you to it.I know for a fact that i can relate the book to my life. This book has me hooked and im going to be very sad to know that the series is going to finish. :'( I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!!
I think Twilight is a great book. The details in the book are so fulfilling. Once you start reading the book, you can't put the book down. Trust me, I know. Twilight is like a dream that can never happen. For example, I would LOVE an edward, but its not capable of happening because there are no such thing in loving and sexy vampires hehehehehe. I LOVE EDWARD!!!! I think that the movie was the greatest movie alive. I see it almost everyday. I love the characters in the movie, and everybodies role is great and fun. At first i did't think that Kristen Stewart would be a good Bella, but seing the movie has convinced me that she is. Robert Pattinson was great in this movie also. I definately can't wait until New Moon comes out (BECAUSE IT IS!!!!)The only downfall is that Edward will not be in the movie like, at all. Boo that sucks!
Everyone that i have met so far, and those who have read the book absolutely loved it. Whats so great is that the book can be read by anyone of any age and they will enjoy it. The book might have been to a teen audience but i know many adults who enjoyed it as well.
My favorite thing about the book is the love and the relationship between Bella and Edward.(I LOVE HIM!!!) There is something about the book that if you start, it's hard to put it down. I love the way Stephenie Meyer portrayed Edward and Bella because their character fits each other perfectly. I've read all of the books and absolutely loved all of it.
Then there is THE TWILIGHT MOVIE. I watched the movie twice as well. Actually, at the beginning , when the movie was being made I was furious because I didn't want to see the characters different than the way i imagined. But as i saw the actors, I thought that maybe they might portray the parts well. I saw the movie and I liked it. The actors were perfect. But i cant deny the fact that i was a little disappointed. I had high expectations after reading that book multiple of times (and i'm not kidding) and it was kind of a letdown because it didn't include some of my favorite parts. Overall, the movie was pretty good. I hope the sequels are better though.
Well if you haven't read the book then you dont know what you're missing. I mean this is the kind of book that non-readers would actually read, it's that good.Seriously. Anyways, I highly recommend this book to everybody. <3
I agree with Cristal, the movie is nothing compared to the book. I think that is because the book is always better than the movie.the book has more detail as to what the character is feeling.I can name three books that were made into movies that the book was so much better; The Outsiders, Interview with a Vampire and of course Twilight. Currently i am reading the third book, Eclipse. I also agree with Lucky, if they decide to make New Moon into a move hopefully it will be better than Twilight. i highly recomend this book to everyone, trust me these books are addicting
Ladies, ladies...Books are always better than their cinematic manifestations. Just one more reason to keep reading amazing literature. I just bought Eclipse today but I can't start it yet. I have a final on Monday and I know if I crack the cover on book #3 I'll never get anything done!

TWILIGHT IS THE BEST!!

I agree with Adam.
Just kidding =P
I would've loved the movie if i would've not read the book!
>_<
I blame Lucky. haha.
One thing i do like about the book(s), is the detail, Stephenie Meyer is SOOO darn detailed when she writes, it brings the book to life. =O
